Show me your squares

I was browsing through Ravelry and feeling a little sad. Not so long ago I was being really creative and loving making squares. Whilst there are always ideas waiting to materialise, I seem to have lost my crojo. It’s probably also due to the fact that there is somewhat of a crochet boom. There are just so many CALs, and projects, and designs, and I just want to make them all – so much so that I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Crochet is meant to be fun, not stressful, so I really need to choose only one or two of these projects rather than wanting to do everything and then feeling rather depressed that I can’t even complete one. Anyone else feeling like this at the moment?

One of the key tasks I need to complete is updating my website – more specifically the links to the crochet patterns. You will see that many of the patterns still don’t have photos. When I made the original squares I was an absolute newbie and didn’t know the difference between the various yarns, and my tension left a lot to be desired. I had a plan to redo all my squares and upload prettier and more vibrant photos, but can’t seem to get to it, so I am asking for your help. How would you like your square to be uploaded onto my website? It’s really simple, all you need to do is download one of my free patterns from here and simplye-mail me a pic of your completed square (blocked it needed). I will then choose (with help) which photos to upload and will then give you full credit. Are you keen? Deadline end of September 2017.
